Our service went out around 3:45 p.m., interrupting an online order I was placing for an SSL certificate for a valued web hosting client. It have not been able to find out yet if the order went through.
For a while, calls to Citizens 24-hour support line brought a recording saying the outage was widespread. Then the recording was taken down and callers got canned background music only while waiting for up to an hour or more.
I finally got through by going through another number and was told the outage was massive and they were working on it.
This was filed using limited Internet access via my iPhone. More later.
