The annual Arts and Crafts Festival for Floyd kicks off Saturday for a two-day run at Floyd County High School.
The Floyd Rescue Squad hosts a breakfast brunch at Squad 1 on U.S. 22 just north of Floyd and runs from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Floyd Country Store hosts its monthly Internet radio show, starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night and feature the Buckstankle Boys.
The Friday Night Jamboree features Janet Turner & friends, 2 Young 2 Old and Mac Traynham and Friends at the County Store. The music starts at 6:30 p.m.
At Dogtown Roadhouse, Scott Perry & Front Porch Swing perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Victor Lawson and Boogie Chillen are on state at 8 p.m. Saturday.
The weather? Thunderstorms in the area Friday afternoon and night and the thermometer heads into the dumpster with lows in the 40s Friday night and into the 30s Saturday night and into Sunday.
