It wasn’t even close.
The Lady Buffaloes finished a strong conference tournament run Saturday night in Martinsville with a 76-30 thumping of the Glenvar Highlanders, a team that has played them closer in the regular season that just ended.
Outscoring the Highlanders each quarter, the Highlanders didn’t make the basket once in the fourth period and the Conference win gives Floyd home court advantage to open regional play Monday night against Dan River at 6 p.m.
Natalie Boothe led scoring with 17 points, Ashley Gallimore put in 14 while Abi Belshan and Ragan Wishman added 13 apiece.
Boothe downed five three pointers.
Tickets go on sale at 5:00 p.m.
Ragan Wiseman also got honors at the top player in the regional tournament.
