Tim Kaine first appeared at Floyd’s famous Friday Night Jamboree in 2005 with governor Mark Warner. Kaine was running for Virginia’s top spot and won.

Kaine was back twice in 2012 when he ran for the seat Sen. John Warner was leaving and he beat former governor and senator George Allen for the job.

Presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton picked Kaine Friday as her running mate Friday as they head into next week’s convention and are slated to oppose Donald Trump and Mike Pence in the general election in November.

Let the games begin.
