The 41-degree temperature displayed on our back porch at 0500 for this Sunday was the high for the day. It began to drop shortly afterward and now sits at 36 degrees. According to the National Weather Service office in Blacksburg, it will be around 28 before climbing back up sometime Monday.
Fall? More like Winter. The rain stopped around 0730 and it’s just cloudy and windy outside but we will most likely stay in for the day.
A wind advisory from the NW kicks in at 2 pm. Sunday and stays in effect until 11 a.m. on Monday with 25 miles per hour gusts that could go higher.
Forecasts all for sunny and windy Monday with a high around 56 and a low of 38 overnight, sunny and 56 again on Tuesday with the low a couple of degree warmer, 58 on Wednesday (low 44) and then back up into the 60s (low 47) on Thursday.
Friday looks like a sunny day that could hit 70 degrees before a rainy weekend arrives.
