Floyd County High School’s varsity volleyball Lady Buffaloes finished out their home regular season series Wednesday night with a loss to the Radford Bobcats on a senior night match postponed from last week’s Hurricane Matthew flooding.
Radford took all three matches — 25-14, 25-20 and 25-20 — and heads into next week’s district tournament as first seed.
The Lady Buffs’ loss leaves then 11-6 overall and 5-6 district but will be a contender when regional playoffs begin week after next.
For Wednesday’s game, Jaycee Dalton had four kills and 12 digs while Kenz Dalton registered four assists.
