Floyd’s downtown Farmers Market opened its 2019 season Saturday on South Locust Street.

With sun shining, music playing and lots of interest from visitors, the vendors displayed and sold their wares into the early afternoon.

The market, in the Community Pavilion at 205 S. Locust (between County Records and the Station on South Locust) is open each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 16 of this year and a provided by Sustain Floyd and local agribusiness owners.
