Weather weather advisory begins at midnight

Looks like we only have ice for you...

Hope you enjoyed the pleasant weather in the 40s Thursday afternoon because a winter weather advisory goes into effect at midnight and extends until at least 6 p.m. Friday for most of our Southwestern Virginia area along the Blue Ridge.

Looks like a rough morning with freezing temperatures but it should turn to just rain by afternoon if the forecast is correct.

Says the National Weather Service office in Blacksburg:
