For much of the quarter-final match of state basketball play Tuesday night at Floyd County High School, the tough Virginia Hight Bearcats controlled the game with oftten questionable calls that resulted in technical fouls.

Late in a game that ran into overtime, the Buffaloes scored 10 unanswered points, strong players for the Bearcats fouled out, a fan sparked aa technical foull and the Buffs came away with a 57-52 overtime win after officials ended the game with each team in their locker rooms,

A wild night with a deserving win by the Buffaloes.
