Floyd County High School’s varsity football Buffaloes take their 2-0 on the road this week after beating Blacksburg 32-20 last Friday, following a 31-26 win over Narrows for the home opener.

The Buffs are scheduled for away games, starting with Grayson County this Friday, followed by trips to Fort Chiswell, Patrick County and Martinsville before returning home onto face Carroll County.

The final two scheduled home games in the regular season are set for Radford on Oct. 31 and Glenvar on Nov. 7. Game times are 7 p.m. for all of the events.

As readers know, I have been unable to photograph the games this year because of serious heath issues. The doctors who put a stop to attending the games and stalking the sidelines are saying I have a chance to have recovered enough to return to shoot photos and/or video by the Carroll County game on Oct. 17.
