Not quite yet to the Jamboree

Sooner or later, I will be up to adding to my photos and videos cataloging the music of Floyd County and Southwestern Virginia.

The weather was good Friday for the Friday Nite Jamboree, but my body was not yet up to a visit with cameras.

Treatment Thursday by the Carilion Wound Doctor taking care of my hobbled legs kept me off my feet most of Friday and still too weak to carry and focus my cameras at the Jamboree by the late afternoon.

Oh well. One short step at a time, gingerly, with a slow gait aided by a cane and patience.

As readers know, I have shot thousands of photos and many videos of the Jamboree since returning to Floyd in 2004, 22 years ago. Some of my favorites are shown here.

I hope to add to the collection soon, health permiting.
