An ode to summertime, put together in 2013, just for the hell of it, or as the late John Denver sang “as the living is easy” and said West Virginia was “almost heaven.” I love to try and put together shots of beauty, the glory of nature, and visuals of animals and people having fun.

A lot of that is challenging, giving the corruption of our elected leaders and the convicted felon in the White House, but I have spent much of my 78 years on this earth trying to capture the beauty of America in still photos and video clips.

I am still trying to catalog those images and reviewing the archives gives me a chance to relive the majesty of our America while I join the growing list of those who worry that it could end sooner than it should.

Let’s hope that enough folks will put the needs of our nation ahead of their political bias and greed. I hope to be able to produce a product that showcases our ability to survive and not our demise.
