Belated congratulations to both the girls and boys Floyd County High School track teams for their state wins at the State Virginia High School League Track and Field Championships at James Madison University in Harrisonburg earlier this month.

I covered many of their competitions and wins over the last 20 years, mostly when they were held at Radford University, sometimes at The Plains in Northern Virginia or at Liberty University.

Health issues prevented any photography of local FCHS events this year, much less playoffs.

Wish I could have been there to capture the action. Hope to see you next year, if possible.
