With FloydFest arriving this month, I have been looking through the terabytes of video I shot while covering the event for 10 years.

One of my favorites featured Bluegrass legend Sam Bush and his mandolin in the 2007 FloydFest. He and his manager worked with me before I shot his performance of “The River’s Gonna Run.” The lighting was perfect as was the sound.

With FloydFest now encamped entirely in Floyd County, just off U.S. 221 near Check, I would like to shoot another FloydFest if my health ever improves. I will post some videos of past FloydFests during this year’s event.
