Rose early on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week to drive down to Roanoke for scheduled monitoring and treatment got orthopedic and heart issues. Will have at least three more visits to offices in Riverside 3 of Roanoke Memorial next week, plus one for wife Amy.
With gas prices ranging from $3.69 to $4.09 gallon in Floyd County this week, I welcome a chance to find some cheaper gas prices down in the Star City. I did so Wednesday at a Kroger Station.
With convicted felon, sexual predator and disgraced criminal Donald Trump still occupying The White House, the gas prices are set to rise well over $4.00 a gallon and probably $5.00 in coming weeks. With Amy and I depending on reduced Medicare Part D drug plans easing some of the cost of prescriptions, the criminal president who admits he really doesn’t care about inflation, wants to increase the cost of Supplemental Medicare health insurance and Part D drug programs to at least double by the end of the year.
Prices are already rising again at grocery stores.

Trump and his so-called MAGA Maggot Republicans are claiming Communism is taking over the Democratic Party and “liberals.” An odd claim coming from a wannabe fascist dictator occupying the White House. I often wear at t-shirt with calls for “No Kings” and no “Convicted Felon Presidents.” Not that long ago, wearing such a shirt in Floyd County or other parts of Southwestern Virginia would have brought insults and angry tirades from the locals but the only comments I get now if “I like the shirt” “it ways things that need to be said.”
Polls now show that more than 60 percent of Republicans now consider Trump “unqualified” to lead the nation and his approval ratings are lower than any president in the history of national polling.
Even Fox News, better known by professional journalists as “Faux News,” is reporting that American are increasingly distancing themselves from Trump.
We can hope, and vote in the midterms in November to dump Trump and his cult of domestic terrorists.
