Last week of August also brings the final Floyd Small Town Summer concert for the season and the the show features A Honky Tonk Dance Party with The SWVA Honky Tonk All-Stars: Redd Volkaert, Rachael Hester, Silas Hamilton & More! + Jesse Smathers & Nick Goad.
At the June Bug Center, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, a first production of the new experimenal Loom Theater Company shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And there is music and dancing at The Friday Night Jamboree, Dogtown Pizza, the Buffalo Mountain Brewery and other locations in and around Floyd County.
Windfall, a popular local band, helps close out the summer with a free concert a Oak Grove Pavilion behind the Zion Lutheran Church in Floyd. on Sunday.
